Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Originally finding out about how animals suffer before slaughter. Now it's also because I believe they simply have the right to live!

Well, I wish I had joined a long time ago when I use to travel & eat out more often but wasn't aware of it. I figure better late than never & hopefully I can contribute the best of the few places I will dine at. It's always great to be surrounded by others who have the same values!

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

A few of my regular simple dishes I make at home are BBQ Jackfruit w/slaw on a burger bun, eggless egg-salad made w/tofu (raw) & chickpea 'tuna' salad (raw), Lentil 'meat' loaf, mushroom Sloppy Joes, spicy coconut veggie curry, Tai Coconut corn stew, traditional meatless spaghetti w/a chunky tomato sauce. I've recently veganized my Turkish Baklava :)
