Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I really did not choose to be vegan, it chose me. I have severe digestive issues and my GI instructed me that I am not longer to eat animal products period. So I am a clean eating vegan, who is dabbling in a mostly raw diet. I have to say, I feel MUCH better with a plant based diet and now I am no longer aiding in the mistreatment of animals!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Vegan eating is hard and I am out and about a lot, so this helps me find healthy, natural, clean vegan options.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I LOVE the Roseville / Sacramento area, I was surprised by the limited vegan options. I would love to visit the world, there are too many places to list!
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Hummus, Chickpeas (any way you put them)!!
