More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I prefer to be vegetarian because it's not fair to participate in animal cruelty simply for human consumption. I used to be vegan and hopefully someday I will be vegan.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
It looked pretty groovy. I was looking up vegan restaurants on the internet then I connected to this website. This website has helpful information about restaurants and stuff and there are cool people on here.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I really want to go to Jamaica, India, and France. Also I want to go to UK and see famous spots in rock n roll history and hopefully see the Bay City Rollers in concert. I have been to San Francisco and it's far out! I also want to get a van and go on a cross country road trip! I took a train across the country before and it was amazing!
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I don't get how someone could have like an absolute favourite food because there are so many to choose from! Vegetarian samosas and gorme sabzi are some of my favourites. I really like Indian food and Middle Eastern food.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Watch "Food Inc. and "The Human Footprint". "Food Inc." made me cry because it showed how animals are treated so cruelly. "The Human Footprint" showed how much food that the average human consumes in a lifetime. It said that people eat like 2,000 chickens and hundreds of pounds of beef. Sad.
