More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Well... my first and foremost reason (the thing that made me, as a 10 year old, say 'no more') is that animals are friends, family, maybe even enemies on occasion, but NEVER food! These are sentient beings that we murder without justification. Also... it's healthier, there are tons of health risks associated with eating my friends, and it's not even DIFFICULT to be a vegetarian, so there's just no excuses!

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Happy Cow is such a practical tool! Especially when I was travelling around Europe... it was crucial that I come here to find veg restaurants before I got to a new city. I figure... this is the type of thing I support and I'd love to meet other people that support it also!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

My favorite cities in the world so far are: Bern (Swisse), Cesky Krumlov (CZ), Venice (Italia), Berlin (Deutschland), and Vancouver BC (Canada) Next on my list of must experience are: Tibet and India... you better believe I'm going to do a Veg Voyage as soon as I can come up with the cash!!!!, Quebec, China, and Portugal

Sweet November is one of my fave movies of all time, and has a great focus on a vegetarian main character even though its a big-budget Hollywood flick.
