Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Aside from the belief that it is wrong to kill animals, I feel the way in which livestock farming and commercial fishing operations consume, waste, exploit and pollute is criminal.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To give honest, knowledgeable feedback to both businesses and customers from a professional who has been in the food service industry. I have had to worry about every customer that has ever eaten in one my restaurants enjoying themselves. I know what it is like when things go wrong (and right) and how the customer should be treated. I also know what a difficult guest is like and how hard it is to satisfy them sometimes. As a customer, I work hard for my money and spending it in a restaurant comes with some expectations about quality and service. I write my opinions based on all of that and have no bias (pro or con) towards any place of business I may write about.
