Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I became a vegetarian for ethical/philosophical reasons nearly 20 years ago; about two years later, I became vegan. Soon after going vegan, I began to see all sorts of health benefits; I lost weight, my (severe) allergies were almost gone, and I just felt better. I haven't looked back since then.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

One can never have too many veg resources. ;-)

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Manhattan has a lot of veg-friendly eateries, so I enjoy visiting. For sheer beauty, I love Shenendoah National Park and the Adirondacks. One day, I'd love to travel all over the world, since I've never been outside the US.
