Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I love animals too much to eat them. I don't like supporting that industry (and I do it minimally), I don't like what animal products do to my health, and I don't like the environmental destruction.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Cookbooks: Veganomicon, The Joy of Vegan Baking, and Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. I have Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar and Vegan Brunch, but I haven't tried any recipes yet, so I can't recommend them.
