- I have been a vegetarian for 36 years. Almost my entire life. My 3 children ages 17 - 23 have never eaten an animal product. I can see no intelligent reason to murder and devour the carcasses of animals who, when given the chance, enrich our lives freely and abundantly. I believe an intelligent and advanced society is a vegetarian one.
