Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I've been a vegan for 11 years no. Not a single regret. It is a more sustainable, more compassionate lifestyle and the world definitely needs more of both of those things.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
This is THE go-to website for finding great vegan food in new cities. I would have been stuck eating crappy food in many a country with this website!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Thailand had some great vegan offerings, as did Germany. I've got my eye on a USA road trip so I can fully indulge in all the delicious grub Uncle Same has to offer.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Vegan vegetable pot pie is the best thing ever. I wont say no to some vegan waffles with pure maple syrup, either. I can eat my fair share of vegan tacos, too. And I love to snack. On pretty much anything within reach.
