Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I've been vegetarian for 15 years and vegan for almost 7 years. I chose this lifestyle because of the various moral, ethical, health, humanitarian, and environmental issues surrounding industrialized food production and mass consumption of animal products.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I believe we should support and encourage local vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants and shops by providing honest, positive feedback. It's also nice to meet new people in your community who share your lifestyle and worldviews.
