Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Spiritland Bistro (Santa Barbara, CA). There's Chef Joel Koch, and then there's everybody else... Real Food Daily (Santa Monica and Los Angeles). Leaf Cusine (Culver City). Tasty raw does not have to be expensive! Terra Bella (Redondo Beach). More expensive raw, but very imaginative and tasty! Happy Veggie (Redondo Beach). A cut above the average veg Chinese/ Vietnamese. Kung Food (San Diego). An intimate cafeteria. Huge variety, priced by the pound!
