Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I do not like animals to suffer, especially mammals. Eating less, or no meat, also creates less environmental pollution and uses fewer resources like water. More food can be raised from the same amount of land with vegetable crops than from raising food animals, such as beef.

Grain and vegetable casseroles; vegetarian lasagne; eggplant parmesan; lentil soup; quesadillas; Mexican beans and rice; Indian dishes like curried red lentils; Spanish tapas; lamb's lettuce salad with cranberries, sun flower seeds and nuts.
