More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
About 20 years ago, I did a research paper on animal rights for a high school class project, and was horrified about animal factories. I grew up on a farm, thinking all animals were raised on a farm. I even always felt something wrong about that but was taught that you have to have meat in order to live, and that God put animals on this earth for that purpose. But when I learned about the factory farms, that was just too much for me to bare. I gave up meat, thinking I was also going to have to give up good health and great-tasting food. My Dad wouldn't allow it, so for a while, I just pretended to eat meat (while really throwing it under the table for the dogs), but continued researching at the library (before Internet times). That's when I found out about how there were actually a lot of vegetarians for health purposes. I brought these books home to my parents, and they became more open-minded. 21 years later, people think I'm in my early 20's (I'm almost 40) and have way more energy then a lot of people who are even younger than me. And I never experience what most people believe are a normal part of life, like headaches and getting stomach aches from foods, which I believe are caused from having a weak immune system from animal products. Sometimes I'm asked if I'd ever go back to eating meat if factory-farming went away, and all animals were raised on farms, but I could never go back. I can't even look at meat because it's too disgusting. Animals shouldn't even have to go through a split second of pain for us, especially when there are so many delicious, healthy varieties of vegan foods (and products) out there. They should be allowed to live out their full lives and enjoy their God-given features like the rest of us, such as the freedom of movement, sight and sound.

in everything ,there is a reason and every season and its time.Circumstances in this life must always help us be strong no matter how things go wrong we should always know that every misfortune is a blessing. So we need to have love in our hearts and to be truthful and to help us achieve what we want in life.We should always expect the unexpected because they might come your way but remember that victory is ours and we shall surely win....
