Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I'm a lifelong vegetarian and have been vegan for about 5 years. For me, animals enrich our earth, our lives and our universe - They are not for our exploitation.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I'm a passionate vegan diner and cook. I love to travel and explore new vegan restaurants and communities. HappyCow gives me the wisdom to do this and I would like to contribute back to this wisdom in gratitude.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
My spiritual home is the Pacific Northwest and I'm in love with Seattle and Western Washington. I hope to end up back there one day soon. Stockholm and Sweden is also a place that I've loved and hope to explore lots more of.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love a good tofu scramble with a pot of strong black coffee. Mike K's tempeh bacon with pancakes also make me go weak at the knees. I also love anything curried, spicy and exotic. Deep fried tofu is also one of my all time weaknesses :)
