More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I never once ate fish or poultry in my entire live. Because I always thought it smelled or looked disgusting. One Day, when I was four years old, I decided to eat only vegetarian dishes, because I found it disgusting to have a dead animal inside your belly, and of course I was sorry for the living being that had to die for it (btw I also don’t like that fleshy taste of the meat). It wasn't really difficult because my Family never made dishes with "real meat" in it. We "only" ate sausage slices (etc) which bread in the Evening or sometimes when we had a party it gave meatballs. That was all I had to do which meat at home (I also avoided eating everything besides the named ones outside) so it was rather easy to completely drop eating it. ["Real meat" -> something that is not smashed and is in one piece - I am sorry but I don't know the right name for it] I am extremely careful which what to buy (milk/eggs), so in a Restaurant I think it would be the best to eat vegan. - Update: I am now eating vegan! Yay! = ) ~To be continued~

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

So that I can easily made a list to what Restaurants I could go, without to worry about what is in what dish. Well sadly I can't eat gluten, so I have to keep looking out for that, but it will be less stressful. Thank you for that btw. =)

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I have been to Scotland a few times and I really love it there. Also Oxford was a real nice place to be. In the near future I would like to try living in Japan, it is a place I feel comfortable and it sets my mind at peace.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

tomatoes / spring onions / mushrooms / salsify / capers / oregano + savory

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

My favorite YouTube Channels about Veganism: • Mic. the Vegan • Kiera Rose • Jenny Mustard • Bite Size Vegan • FUNsisters • Gary Yourofsky • Vegan ist ungesund • The Vegan Corner
