More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I was vegetarian for health reasons but became vegan after waking up to the inherently cruel practices of the animal industry. Becoming vegan has opened up a whole new worldview for me. I started to educate myself about animal rights, speciesism and the intersectionality of veganism with other social justice movements. I realized that the vegan lifestyle is the most practical, compassionate and ethical decision I can ever make for the well-being of our fellow Earthlings and environment, which is why I've never looked back ever since.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I joined HappyCow to share veggie friendly establishments in places I've visited and to help local vegan businesses gain more exposure.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I liked Edinburgh, Paris and London. I would like to visit Iceland, Ireland, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, New Zealand one day.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Ice cream, baked goods, pancakes, bread, burgers, pizzas. I love my carbs. :)
