Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Originally, I just liked how it made my body feel. I had more energy, I didn't feel sick. Later I started to learn more about the food industry and realized that I couldn't justify eating animal products if I cared about animals as much as I said I did. Also, I just don't think it's healthy to eat food that has been mistreated or modified. I'm working on finally cutting out processed foods.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I was trying to volunteer with Vegan Society and it was suggested that I start by writing some reviews for this site. I go to all of the places anyway, so I might as well!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I like anywhere with street art and graffiti (Valpo, Valencia). I wish we had more public art in the United States. I would really like to have my next big adventure in Asia/Australia/New Zealand.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Asian food that is vegan is a must for me, Vegan tacos using Trader Joe's soy chorizo, a good vegan burger, vegan milkshakes, strawberries!
