Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Ethics first, health second. I could never kill an animal so I can't justify having others do it for me!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
When I first discovered the site I was absolutely blown away at how many listings there were all over the world. What an impressive international community we are. It's wonderful knowing so many others out there share my views and are willing to share information about great places to eat and shop. We need to stick together and support these businesses so they will support us!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
A few examples? Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana ... Bandhavgarh National Park, India ... Arches National Park, UT, USA ... Canyonlands National Park, UT, USA ... Denali National Park and Preserve, AK, USA ... Kenai, AK, USA ... Paris, France ... Khao Lak, Thailand ... Spello, Italy ... Baie Sainte-Catherine, Canada ... San Pedro, Belize ... Santorini, Greece ... Tulum, Mexico ... Arnhem Land, Australia ... Heron Island (Great Barrier Reef), Australia ... Okavango Delta, Botswana ... none necessarily great for vegetarians, unfortunately. India is the only place that it was almost effortless to be a vegetarian. My travel wish list is enormous but some of the places near the top are: Portugal, Marrakesh, Madagascar, The Maldives, Sri Lanka, The Seychelles, Shanghai.
