Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I am a huge animal lover, so I made my New Year's resolution to be vegetarian. I had tried before and failed, but this time I made a goal and stuck to it. My family has been very supportive of me. Being veg has had some great side-affects. I feel so much better, both physically and as a human being. Something that aided my decision was reading things online about how horribly animals are treated in the meat industry.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I'd visited HappyCow quite frequently for information on vegetarianism and for resturants in my area, so joining seemed like the next step :)
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love Seattle, Charleston, and anywhere in Alaska. I've been alot of places in the U.S. and these are the ones that have stuck out the most. I'd love to go to Forks, Washington as well as New York, Tokyo, Ireland, Greece, and many more.

I read a ton. I love almost anything with vampires. My favorite movie is The Fall. I pretty much only read Alt Press magazine.
