- learning to become a participant rather than an observer .. now i see what i have been missing Quick catchup... Left home in NY 1986 to move to Florida with Joe ..got married 1989. Got divorced in 2001. No kids, never wanted any. Met my new best friend Andrea in 1999. Met my new love Mark in 2003. Andrea moved to Austin, 2006. Mark & I followed in 2008. Great move. Love it here. I miss St Pete & all my friends. But I am glad I moved. Regardless of the 104degree summers
