After being a Vegetarian for 26 years, this summer I took a leap into going VEGAN, and I am proud of myself for giving up my beloved cheese! I have been cooking new vegan recipes every night for my (non-veg) hubby and myself. I bought 3 of Colleen Patrick-Goudreau's cookbooks and have been enjoying trying out many of the dishes. I attended a class that she taught recently and she was inspiring. I also would like to note that like her, I too, moved from New Jersey to California's Bay Area, and we are both Pisceans as well! What are the odds? hahaha... We are going to Vegas next week so I am looking for great Vegan meals there, and will be going to Maui in December, so more searching on Happy Cow will be in order for me. I realized last night, that if I change "Vegas" by one letter...it can become "Vegan"! Cool, no?
