More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Animals don't look like food to me. Nor do I feel like nursing a cow as though I was a baby calf.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I have enjoyed using HappyCow (and their app) in many cities around the world when I travel. Often useful, sometime outdated. Time to help keep it updated to save a little time for others.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Love hiking in the French Alps, Pyrenees, Norway (Oslo, the Fjords), along Pacific Coast Highway. The cities of Cambridge (Mass), Portland (Oregon), Berlin (Germany) and Paris (France) are fun. Villages in Kutch (India) and in Sindh, ... Would like to get to Ethiopia, Mali, Tibet and Senegal some day.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Greens, middle-eastern foods such as baba ganouj, Sindhi dishes like fried bittermellon and sorghum flour flatbread. The Persian whole wheat flatbread nuun-e-sangak, fresh from really deep pebble stone ovens..
