Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

It's good for my health, my karma and the planet. Plus really - who would want to eat an animal?

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I first discovered Happycow for the amazing database of restaurants around the world. But I find myself more & more wanting to connect with people who have the same philosophy as myself.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Loved: India, New Zealand, Iceland, Brazil, Paris, Nova Scotia, Northern Spain. I want to see more of South America, including Machu Picchu, of course. Would like to spend more time in NZ and may end up moving there eventually.

Currently reading 2084, a history of global warming as viewed from the year 2084, but based on real scientific projections of what might happen to the Earth by then. It's shocking!
