Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I don't like how we treat animals as slaves, taking from them what we want - breeding them for that sole purpose, keeping them in the most inhumane conditions because it is cheaper, making their life hell until the day they get slaughtered. It is unnatural, cruel and it fucks up the planet.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I travel continuously, primarily for my work and when I have time off I travel even more. South America can be challenging to find vegetarian options (other than pizza or pasta) so it is a good tool to find varied veggie selections.

My favorite food of all times for any vegetarian recipes is quinoa. The texture is delicious and it is super nutricious and easy to cook. You can make pretty much anything using quinoa; breakfasts, mains, stirfries, soups, oven bakes, cakes, deserts, anything.
