Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Mindfulness and ital lifestyle. I only buy/support products and companies that are compassionate towards all life forms. I do, however, eat and/or use animal products if they are given to me. Wastefulness has just as negative impact on the environment as animal cruelty.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Vancouver BC, Austral Islands. I would like to visit South East Asia some day.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Jade rice, mushrooms, potatoes, and anything made by Gardein. Almond milk smoothies are delicious with any type of fruit.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
The Art of War by Sun Tsu. Anything written by Thich Nhat Hang.
