More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Health. I believe in compassion for animals, but I believe that dairy, egg, and honey...even wool...can be part of non-harming agriculture, so even though I eat a vegan diet myself, I don't have any desire to judge other people.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Want to be able to give and receive feedback/ratings on eateries.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I live in a great city for vegan dining, but I also am a fan of the food in Philadelphia.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

List too long, but cauliflower puree/cashew milk Alfredo sauce is a miracle.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Favorite movies: Cowspiracy, Forks Over Knives, Fed Up Favorite book on ethics: "Eating Animals" by Jonathon Safran Foer Favorite cookbook to actually use: "The PlantPure Nation Cookbook' by Kim Campbell Favorite cookbook to keep on the coffee table: "Vedge" by Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby (so pretty and reminds me of the one time I got to eat there)
