More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Mostly ethical reasons- I recognise an animal's ability to suffer and don't agree with causing or participating in that if it's unnecessary. There is also a health element- lessening fat in my diet, and avoiding dairy has been very good for my asthma and my digestion.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I have used the site many times to find places to eat so I thought I would join. I'd like to help contribute making life easier for people trying to do this.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I love a good nut roast. Veg*an burgers are one of my fave foods (even before I was vegan.) Whether they are bean based, potato based or squash based, a tasty burger is a most wonderful thing indeed. Also a good soup is fantastic when you need something quick and simple.
