Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I loved England, France was nice, Germany is awesome, Italy was interesting, st. Croix was beautiful...although I arrived a couple hours after a hurricane, so there were no roofs on most of the buildings! I am curious to visit Sri Lanka, Hawaii, Alaska but most of all Scottland. I don't know how "vegan-friendly" these places would be, but one can always find fruits, vegetables and grains just about anywhere...and one can always bring vegan MREs (meals ready to eat), as my military friend turned me on to!

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Spinach, peaches and most of all: chickpeas (garbanzo beans) Best Ever Chickpea Salad: mash two cups of cooked chickpeas in a bowl, add Nayonaise, chopped celery, salt, pepper and a tablespoon of sweet relish to taste. Serve on a bed of spinach, room temperature, or heated, or simply eat out if the bowl! Divine...and good fr you, too!
