Hi Kristin...
You may have obtained this info by now (I see your post is from last year), but just wanted to share with you. Health Hut on Hwy 127 has Vegenaise (this is where I buy mine - they have a few different kinds). You can purchase tempeh at Lowes Foods in Hickory (I think all of them carry it - it's in the produce section with the tofu), and Health Hut has tempeh AND Tofurkey's tempeh bacon (which is awesome). I don't know if you'd be interested, or what your particular food sensitivities may be - but I am starting a Vegan/Vegetarian group in the Hickory area.
