Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
It's just better for you and I sleep better at night knowing my body is not longer a graveyard for innocent animals. I have animals, & cringe at the idea of anyone wanting to eat them. I just have more energy & am happier.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I came across it and wanted to meet like minded people. I have yet to meet another vegetarian.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I want to live in England someday. I would also love to visit Germany (Deutschland).
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love veggie burgers, carrots, peppers, and broccoli. I've developed a taste for a wide variety of vegetables that I never would have dreamed I'd like.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Vegetarian Times, is full of so many good recipes & articles. I am always excited for the next issue. I personally love Rent; I don't usually like musicals, but this changed my mind.
