Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I prefer the vegan lifestyle because I believe in both human and animal rights. For me veganism is apart of my life and I've been this way for 9 years now. I feel better spiritually and physically in doing so. It's better for our environment and society. Consider the fact that less than half of the harvested agricultural acreage goes to feed people and it takes 16lbs of grain to produce 1lb of meat. If the production manipulation of livestock ceased than less countries would be starving.

I joined to get more info on Vegan stores and restaurants around the world. It's not the easiest thing to travel and be a vegan but Happy Cow definitely helps out a lot with that.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Places I've been: The big Island of Hawaii, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sequoia National Park, Chicago, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Joshua Tree National Park. Places I'd like to go: Everywhere!

I bought an amazing Vegan cookbook in Hawaii called Vegan World Fusion Cuisine. I highly recommend it if your vegan or vegetarian.
