Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Discovering plant based diets to be fully viable made it irrational in my eyes to eat animals.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Vegan pasta salads with creamy avacado, vegan biscuits and tempeh gravy, Vegan mashed potatoes and savory gravy with oven crisped seitan strips. Leafy green salad with grains such as millet, aramath, and quinoa. A light citrusy dressing and tons of fresh vegs, herbs, nuts, berries.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Yes! Magazine. Solid vegan mags. Vegetarian Times seems to be having an identity crisis over how to cover vegans without angering the vegetarians and how to cover the vegetarians without making itself obsolete to vegans. I hope they find a new way to grow.
