Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I became vegetarian at 12 following a friend. there is a multitude of childhood shock that lead me to that point. when i arrived in Uni, people were asking to me why I was a vegetarian and it made me rethink the idea. I considered myself against the animal mass industry. anyway after some years of deny I decided to think about it , i made some research about veganism as it would correspond to the way i think. I discover little by little more reason to become a vegan and one year after i became a vegan while i was in canada

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

it's the greatest website to have info about vegan restaurant. i started using it when i was travelling in the states ( some friends from a vegan restaurant i was working at, told me about it) and now i use it everytime i'm travelling

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

well Portland is extremely awesome for veganism. I loved NYC too for sure. and I lived in Canada and since i'm a big defender of Toronto. really want to go to glasgow and back to Scandinavia. While i'm living in Toronto I would like to explore more of Canada (Calgary, Edmonton, Kingston, Hamilton, Quebec city...Halifax) , and some U.S city nearby (Detroit, Buffalo, Chicago)

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

u mean best plate ? well anything w pasta anything spicy, indian or asian influencesé it's still tough for me to make sweet stuff. so far i make an excellent brownies, apple pie , and carrot cake. I would like to learn how to do some cheesecake and lemon tart
