Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

We have evolved through evolution and are able to choose what we want to eat. A lion can't plant crops, we can. I see no reason to kill anybody just for fun, and eating other animals without the need of their nutrition or composition of proteins doesn't make any sense and would be a step down in evolution.
