More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I became Vegan May 2013 after watching videos on you tube 101 Reason to go Vegan Gary Yourofsky's speech and the movies Vegucated and Earthlings. I went Vegan for the animals, the health part is a bonus. I have never felt better about myself. "There is no fundamental difference between man and animals in their ability to feel pleasure and pain, happiness, and misery." ~ Charles Darwin

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To find great vegan friendly restaurants to eat at.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I would love to visit Alaska, Norway, Ireland, and Scotland.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I haven't found anything I didn't like, so i would say EVERYTHING!

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Movies: Earthlings, Vegucated, Forks over Knives, A River Of Waste: The Hazardous Truth About Factory Farms, Blackfish, Tapped, YouTube Presentations: Why Vegan? Amazing Presentation by Gary Yourofsky, 101 Reason to go Vegan by James Wildman, Making the Connection - Why Vegan?
