More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Because 45 billion animals are tortured and killed every year, just so that people can satisfy their taste buds. This enormous statistic doesn't even include water dwelling animals, who feel just as much pain as a pig or a chicken. The New Zealand dairy industry murders 1.4 million bobby calves every year for human consumption, this is more then one every 30 seconds. By going vegan you can save up to 100 animals per year.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To meet more vegans! Sometimes as a vegan I feel isolated, especially when t comes to people my age. All the vegans I have met have been in their adult years, but I really want to meet some young teenage vegans.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Everywhere! The world is so big, it's impossible to name one place as my favorite! I just went on a world trip and particularly enjoyed Italy and USA, although the whole trip was absolutely awesome!

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Pasta! Pizza! Samosa! Pakora! Curry! Noodles! Pasta! Onion Bhaji! Pasta! Naan bread! Did I mention pasta? Basically anything thats either italian, indian or asian. I also like veggie burgers (Bean Supremes are sooo yum!) I also do a lot of cooking, so I eat quite a range of foods.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Hmmm, tough one, I haven't actually read any AR books. I like the CHERUB series, although it doesn't have much to do with AR
