More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

LOVE being vegan and feeling the benefits in so many different ways, 2 years vegan now and will never go back. I would be vegan for a mixture of different reasons; ethical, moral, health, etc. Absolutely love it and find the Internet to be the best source of fantastic new and delicious recipies.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I wanted to link with this site as I want to travel and this has a great source of all things vegan internationally and I also want to help update and review the Irish side of things. We are still far far behind but it's getting slowly better.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I lovedont San Francisco but was young when I went and would love to go again. I want to gone everywhere but Thailand and their fruit festival would be top of my list at the moment.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Top of the list would have to be burritos!! Some serious nom-age goes on when it's mexican night! Nachos... guacamole...food coma! ? But of the he day to day non spoilies time; Roasted head of cauliflower with a mushroom sauce (goes well with anything ) Simple salads! Love getting creative with these. Soups, just and ll Soups!! Who doesn't live a good soup when it's cold out?

Watched Avatar last night for the first time in years so at the moment that is at the top of my list but my list is very long! ? I love Peter V Brett his books are fantastic and a must read for all! His writing iskills just beautiful and the world he has created is amazing! Garth Nix (I think they are called -the kingdom as are group of books) would also be a fav. One that I keep going back to would be City of Beasts, it's just a beautiful story.
