Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

The exploitation of animals is no longer necessary. I therefore think that meat consumption and dairy consumption is an aged business and gives the worlds animals unnecessary pain.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I was planning a visit to Berlin and was googling vegan restaurants. I rather soon found myself checking out restaurants on happycow.net. I decided to join because we vegans need all the help we can get finding restaurants which serves food we eat.

I like all kinds of food ( aslong as it's vegan ). I'm a fan of buffets, i like the concept.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

In sweden we have a magazine simply called "Vego". I figure it would be hard for people who doesn't know swedish to read it, but it's still the best foodmagazine i ever had a subscription on. My favorite vegan food books are: "Vegoriket" written by Mattias Kristiansson and Coops (a supermarket chain in sweden) vegan cookbook.
