Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I am a vegan for animal rights reasons, enviromental reasons, and I am certainl not complainign about health benefits, though I screw those up sometimes by eating too much HFCS and baked goods.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have a lot to contribute regarding vegan life in lousiana that no one else seems t have shared.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I want to visit portland, revisit new york, and go to NC.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Anything with lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, contrasting flavors like sweet and sourl salty and sweet, and comfort food like pot pies and "chik'n and dumplings" with a side of spinach and asparagus.
