Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Just started on this path, so still learning lots. This is a bit of an experiment to see how I feel in the weeks and months after making the change to a vegetarian diet. Vegan...well, we'll see. Baby steps!

Not as easy to find vegetarian food in Indiana as it was when living in California - plus I travel a lot and hope this site will help me on the road.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I've never met a beach, mountain, or forest trail I didn't like. I've traveled in Europe and Asia, but would really like to visit India one day.

Had natto when I was in Japan and really liked that - maybe not my absolute favorite food, but certainly among the most unusual (in this ZIP code) veg food I've enjoyed.
