More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I prefer to eat veg*n because I feel more in touch with Nature and animals. I also feel really good about myself knowing I am making a positive change for my health,my planet and for the animals.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I was excited to meet new people and learn more obout veganism. Also this just seems like such a diverse community :3!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I hope to go to the Three Sisters Cafe in Indy I have heard so many good things about that place. It is said that they have a wide selection of veggie options and I'm curious. I've never been to a vegan oriented resturamt before!

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Fresh mixed melon bowls, vanilla almond milk in rice topped with brown sugar and cinnnamon (comfort food), Justins peanut butter cups (vegan) wich is weird because I dont have much of a sweet tooth.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

I really think people should read Tuesdays with Morrie its a very good thought provoking book. The main reason I went vegan is because of the documenatry Earthlings. You should also order a Vegetarian Starter Kit thy are free and very helpful filled with recipies, facts and the vegan food pyramid!
