- I work for whole foods market, and although our family is not vegan, or even entirely vegetarian, we constantly strive to move in those directions. There are times when we will do a raw fruit/vegetable fast for a period of time, or make an effort to buy animal sensitive products when given the choice. But unfortunately, we travel and move our family of 6 an awful lot, and that makes it very difficult to adhere to absolute schedules and convictions. Never-the-less, we always look for wholesome alternative foods wherever our path in life leads us, which is why we are so grateful to those that have developed and support this wonderful website! - WE LOVE IT!

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Love for animals, health reasons, and for the obvious- it's not imperative to our survival to eat meat.

This site is a God-send! It is so crucial when traveling and moving constantly from city to city.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Mexico, Ecuador, Hawaii, Costa Rica...
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Tempeh, Tofu Rice, Beans, 'wok cooked' Veggies... and I never met a fruit I didn't like.
