- I am a happy mom, wife, sister, and friend! I have recently become a vegan after watching two very powerful and informative documentaries; Forks over Knives and Earthlings. I have felt a deep connection to nature and animals all my life and have always felt the pull of an animal free diet calling me but I never thought I'd have the will to stop myself from doing something I've been doing my whole life, namely eating meat and drinking milk. I've since become passionate about educated myself on the cost to my life as well as the cost to the gentle creatures who have suffered so much to feed and cloth our world. Its clear to me the kind of person, wife and mom I want to be and the kind of business and practices I want to support and animal cruelty for the sake of a hamburger is not one of them.
