More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I'm a vegan because I believe in living a life free of harm, to myself and to others. I believe in living a life that impacts the energy around me in a positive way. I believe we could still pull off rescuing the planet if we worked towards the common goal.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have been a very active user of the app while traveling and always wanted to get involved but felt like I didn't have anything meaningful to contribute. Now I realize that every place I have been holds opportunities for vegans and those restaurants, pubs, shops and people should be named and praised for what they do. I'm basically here to help spread the message. :)
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I would like to see EVERYTHING and would need 300 years here to pull that of. But I have been lucky enough to visit so many wonderful places and even call some of them home. My favorite place is Gran Canaria. i love the salt in the air, the markets with all sorts of fruits and veggies, the nature, the people. Veganism and organic produces are on the rise and I'd love to move there some day.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Avocados! I even named my blog after them. Raspberries and really all berries. Cashew nuts and really nuts of any kind.
