Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I strongly believe in living a vegan lifestyle for the animals, for the planet, and for the people. Animal rights are extremely important to me and I do not want to contribute to animals' suffering and murder
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I am the only vegan that I know in Louisville. I'm sure there are others and I intend to join more groups, but when I started this lifestyle I did not have any resources.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I adore San Francisco and San Diego ( I think I'm a Cali girl at heart) and I also like DC and Boston. I cannot wait to travel the world! My top place to visit is New Zealand.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
FRIED RICE FOR DAYS!! also, veggie spaghetti, pineapple, and grapes
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
COWSPIRACY all the way. Seriously, go watch it please. Also, Earthlings and any speech by Gary Yourofsky.
