More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Went ovo-lacto-vegetarian for the animals. Turning vegan 1st for the planet, 2nd for the animals, and last for my health

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Love to travel, and obviously this helps me tremendously :)

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I have so much pleasure in travelling, really enjoy it. Loved a small town in Switzerland called Stein am Rhein, its really something; Hohenzollern Castle in Germany; Saona island in the Dominican Republic; Versailles and Monet house in France; Stockholm and a few more towns I've been in Sweden took my breath away (loved everything there); Budapest is gorgeous; the whole island of São Miguel (Azores) is a wonder; Quinta da Regaleira, Palácio de Monserrate and everything else in Sintra is mesmerising. And much muuuuuch more!! Planning to go to Indonesia by the end of the year and some weekend getaways, starting with Seville. As a traveller addict (yes, I really am, don't travel more 'cause I can't) I would like to visit pretty much everyplace is this world :)

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

When I was a ovo-lacto-vegetarian I would say Italian for sure. But now as a Vegan maybe Indian cuisine. Veganized portuguese food is pretty awesome too.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Eating animals by Jonathan Safran Foer Bet everyone here has seen Cowspiracy, forks over knifes, food inc (etc)
