More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Mainly for ethical reasons, I can't stand the cruelty to animals involved in the meat industry. However in recent years I have realized the importance of a meat free diet for the environment and also for global poverty

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I want to promote my business and connect with like-minded people. So many friends/acquaintances are skeptical of my guest house accommodation which won't cater for meat eaters. I am passionate about proving them wrong and plan to organize advertising with Happy Cow.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I am originally from England and traveled extensively when I was younger. I loved India, Turkey, Canada, Asia and Europe. Now I prefer places such as New Zealand, England, other parts of Australia as I find poverty and animal neglect hard to witness

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

All Indian vegetarian and vegan foods, Asian stir fry using sauteed tofu and spicy sauces such as satay, raw salads using a variety of home made sauces, pasta dishes, smoothie bowls, vegan hot dogs/burgers

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
