Oh! I have been in Yokohama after Xmas visiting my husband's relatives. I had a hard time when dinner time came and the topic came out, it was like the the whole world was against me! Since I decided to turn into vegan my husband couldn't stand it (in the very beginning he was like just staring at me) and I think I got sick -stomachache and stressed, cuz of that and cause I still don't get the ingredients and I'm still learning. If I were alone or with other vegetarian or vegans living together it could be easier for me. Wow! 3 little kids! It reminds me when I had my 3 kids:5,3 and the baby, it was exhausting and at the same time amazing. Now they are 22, 20 and 17. And you are Ana too , I'm Ana Luisa but people call me Midori. I bought the book Japanese Cooking by Miyoko Nishimoto Schinner and my daughters made for me stewed vegetables (ni-mono). Great that your family is vegetarian. I might go more frequently to Yokohama since my mother in-law will live there and then maybe we can enjoy a veg meal. Do you know any restaurant? I wish you have a marvelous 2014! And thanks for the message. Right now I'm reading Eat Like You Care.
