Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I became Vegan back in September of 2009. A transgendered friend and ex boyfriend of mine kind of opened my eyes to the "truth" behind what I was eating. I saw enough videos and read enough horrific stories that broke my heart. Therefor from then on became Vegan. True it was tough going through my transition, I kind of did it little at a time. Then it just got easier to find the food I could eat :] Places to eat though are slim. So ya WHY I am Vegan is pretty obvious or should be obvious.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
eh joined because I could basically. LOL and I'm Vegan, it's a nice place to look for restaurants, I've been coming to the main site for years but decided to join here just now. AND to meet people near me or close to me as possible that are Vegan...
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
anything made out of tofu. Or anything with loads of veggies!
