- I simplified my life in 2004, quitting my corporate job and moving to a little house in the bush. My grocery budget was around $140 a month for one person, now it's Fang and me, so we spend twice that. Fang encouraged me to share my very efficient, tasty and cheap system for making batches of healthy food from scratch with whole foods. One of the main advantages is that it's a way to help reduce your carbon footprint. That's why the name is related to 10:10Global.org.
